Carson's First Day of 2nd Grade

Carson is Mister Cool this year. He didn't need me to walk him to class, he didn't want any picture in school, and he laughed at me with his friends when I peeked into his class room to try to snap a photo. He's having fun in second grade. He has a great teacher. He loves to read, and he is really good at math.

Devon is having such a great start. He loves school, he's making new friends, and learning lots. He has recently learned how to ride a bike without training wheels and to tie his own shoes. Devon is and has always been such a sweetheart. I knew he would do well in school because he is such a great listener and so smart.

Weight Family Vacation

This year we had the Weight Family Vacation in San Diego. We stayed in some beautiful condos right on the beach. Although the trip started off with a terrible accident resulting in my dad staying in the hospital for most the trip and loosing his eye, we all tried to keep our spirits high and still make the most of an amazing trip my parents had been planning all year. Like every year, my parents planned a wonderful trip for the entire family to come together for fun and to make new memories. Thank you Mom and Dad!!

After our Family Vacation to San Diego Me, Wendi, and Jodi all went back "home" to my parents house for a few weeks. This is where the cousins really got to spend quality time together and had a lot of fun. Wendi, Jodi, Annalee and I also got to bond and make some new wonderful memories together. Our Puppy Bella

We got a puppy! Usually this is about the time I am about to pop out another baby, so this time we got a baby dog. She is a boxer. Her name is Bella and she is about 4 months old. We have had her for about 2 months and she is already part of the family. We all love her to pieces. The kids love having a dog and Cabe and I can't get enough of her either:) She is so snuggly and sweet. She really is a great dog.

The Best Santa Ever!

Six Flags had the best Santa I'd ever seen, EVER! Whitney absolutely loved this Santa. When it was time for Devon's turn she gave Santa a hug that lasted a least a minute. It was pretty magical, and this Santa made Cabe and I believers. Sydney not so much:)

Whitney is 3!!! She is such a special girl, and we have loved the last 3 years with her. She is growing so fast, we just want to freeze her in time. Right now she enjoys playing with her babies, pretending to cook, jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, and watching movies. She absolutely loves her hair. She will not let me put it in a pony tail any more, she wants it down all the time. For her birthday we got her 3 years pictures taken, had a blast at Chuck E Cheese, and then had a party with our friends. It was a great day, for a great girl. We love our sweet little 3 year old Whitney Delaine.

Carson had his last soccer game. He had a lot of fun this season, and grew into a very good soccer player. The league he played on was very interactive and taught him a lot of good things. We were very impressed. Now on to Basketball!

Halloween 2009

We had a very fun Halloween. Carson and Devon were Jedi's. Which as you can see they got into character very well. Whitney was our beautiful Snow White. We put curlers in her hair to make it curly, she got to wear mascara and lipstick, and of course her dress and shoes. Sydney was our little girly pirate. Cabe took Carson, Devon, and Whitney trick or treating and they got a ton of candy and had a blast. I got to take Sydney around to a few houses and it was the cutest thing. She understood what was going on with the pumpkin in her hand pretty quick, and couldn't wait to get to the next door.

Carson Soccer

Carson is quite the little soccer player this year. He is a very good dribbler, and kicker. He has learned how to keep the ball in control while going down the field. He is also very good on defense. He hates when the other team scores. It has been a lot of fun watching him play this year.

San Antonio Weather

We are just loving the weather here in San Antonio. We are having the most beautiful fall/winter. There has been a couple of days where we wore pants and jackets, but over all we are still in shorts, capris, and short sleeves. It is about 75-80 degrees right now, it is so great. We do not miss the Utah winters at all :). We've had a few good rain storms. These pictures are one of the first we had, it was still 90 degrees outside and just pooring. Devon and Whitney were basically swimming in the river coming down our street, it was hilarious.

First Day of Preschool

Devon is loving Preschool. His teachers name is Ms. Viva Mae, and he just loves her. He is making tons of new friends, learning lots, and becoming more and more independent. He can't wait for next year when he gets to go to Kindergarten everyday. He is truly our little sweetheart, this kid has the biggest heart.

Lake Tahoe

My parents were so sweet to fly me and the kids out for our big family vacation we do once a year. This year we spent the week at Lake Tahoe. It was beautiful! Todd and Wendi brought their boat. Carson, Sadie, and Kaylee were brave enough to do a little tubing and I was able to do a little wake boarding (which I haven't done for years, it was a blast). My mom had crafts planned each day for the kids, my dad took the kids minature golfing, and crawdad fishing. Scott and I saw a big brown bear, Jodi tried to enjoy the beach with her brand new baby Riley, Wendi and Annalee tried not to go into labor.....We took the kids on a 4 mile hike, which Todd carried Casey, Scott carried Devon, Dad carried Kaylee, and I carried Whitney, for 2 miles back to the car, it was great:) Over all we had the best time, and made another year of great memories.

We did it!!! I am so proud of Cabe and all that he has accomplished over the last 4 years. Not only did he graduate from Med School, but he had 2 babies during it, was a counselor in the bishopric, managed to still take his wife out occasionally, and was an amazing dad for the whole 4 years. What a guy:) We would also like to thank all of our parents who have supported us over the years, we know this is a proud day for you as well. Thank you to all our friends and family who made it to the graduation, and the party after wards. We love you all!

Fourth of July

We had a good fourth of July. We had Brunch at Joe and Lisa's house in the morning, then swimming at the pool, then a bar b que at Mike and Leanna's, and then we ended the day with fireworks. Only thing that sucked was that Cabe had to work that whole day and night :(

I can't believe she's one! We had such a fun birthday. She started the day off with doughnuts and juice and Grandpa Mike and Grandma Jeri's birthday gift, the walking shopping cart. She loved it as you can see. Later when Cabe got home we had a party with our close friends. She got some fun gifts, and loved her Hello Kitty Cake (which I made, that's why there are no pictures, it was that sad of a cake). She is our little cutie!

Our New House in Texas

This is our new house. We absolutely love it! It fits our family perfectly. The neighborhood we live in has a pool we get to go to, which is such a necessity here. It is very hot, but we were so sick of the cold that we don't mind the heat at all. We have made some really great friends here, and we are by so many fun things. Cabe has started working at the hospital and likes it, well, kind of likes its. Right now he is on a rotation that works him hard and long. His first week he worked over 100 hours, it was crazy. But he's doing well, the kids are doing good, and I'm doing great! I LOVE having a house!

Bowling

We had so much fun bowling last weekend with the Fellers. All the kids had a blast, even Whitney and Jed. Carson was very serious and quite competitive, he did manage to get one strike:) which he was very excited about. We found the perfect bowling place called Fat Cats. It has bowling, video games, and toys to play on, it's also connected to the Pizza Factory so you can order pizza and they bring it to your bowling table. It was so fun for the kids and for the adults.

Our little Sydney is almost 9 months and has started to crawl!! She is the youngest of our kids to start crawling, usually they don't move much until like 10 months. She is so much fun to watch crawl around, and she's getting much more playful.We love her cure smile, and we're happy we get to see it often:)

Soccer

Soccer has stared!! Carson and Devon are on separate teams this year, because of their age. Devon gets to be on the same team as his cousins Kaciann and Lexi, which is very fun. Devon is enjoying soccer this year much more compared to last. He actually is running for the ball and every once in a while gets a good kick in. It's so fun to watch him play.

The Train Museum

We had such a fun day with our good friends the McIntyres at the Train Museum in Ogden. To get there we took the tracks down to the new Front Runner Train and then took the Front Runner to Ogden where we spent the day at the Train Museum. It was about an hour train ride. And then did it all again coming home. It was a full day of trains, and we all had a blast.

Devon had his 4th Birthday at Chuckee Cheese. It was a blast. We partied for about 3 1/2 hours, it was crazy. He got so many fun toys, and most of all got to spend time with all of his closest friends and family.

Halloween was a blast. Whitney was wonder women, Carson and Devon were Jedi's, and Sydney was a pumpkin. We went to Wendi's house for their town Halloween party and her kids were also Star Wars characters and they won the group costume contest. The kids had a lot of fun trick or treating and got tons of candy.

University of Utah 5K and child 1K

Carson and I ran in the University of Utah Homecoming 5K and child 1K race. Carson tore it up!! He ran so fast and beat the Ute. I ended up taking 3rd place in my division.

Disneyland Trip

Here are some pictures of our family Disneyland trip we just took. We had so much fun. We spent 3 days at Disneyland and 1 day at the beach. The kids had a ball getting the characters autographs, riding the rides (Carson and Devon could go on all the big coasters:), and watching the parades. My parents met us down there and there was no way we could have done this trip without them. We loved having them with us to share in the memory, and they definitely added to the fun.

The boys got some fun new Razor scooters. They have so much fun riding them around the court. Carson learned how to ride a bike without training wheels:) He basically taught himself. Liberty Land

Grandma and Grandpa Doyle took the boys for a day of fun at the new Liberty Land in Lehi. We met up with them later and Whitney also got to go on some rides. Fourth of July

We spent the fourth of July in Koosharem Ut at Todd and Wendi's new beautiful house. My mom, dad, and Scott flew in to celebrate with all the Utahins and we had a blast. Cabe was on the four wheeler almost the entire time with atleast 5 kids hooked on. The kids got to go fishing as well and both Carson and Devon caught a fish. On the fourth we had breakfast at the town hall, watched the parade, and watched the kids do races and play on the water toys. We always have fun spending the fourth of July in Koosharem and appreciate Todd and Wendi for letting everyone stay in their new home, even though they had just moved in 2 days prior to us coming.

Sydney has been home now for about a week and is doing great. Devon especially loves holding her and does a really good job. Carson likes to run by her and stop for a second to say how cute she is, and Whitney yells "baby" like it's the first time she's seen her every time. Cabe loves coming home to his little family of 4 and is enjoying having another baby girl. I am doing great, other then a little sleep deprived. My mom has been here helping for the past week and my friend Amber is taking the boys for the weekend to help out, sooo nice. So, the real world starts up for me on Monday when I'm home by myself with all 4 kids. Wish me luck!

Soccer

Carson and Devon just finished Baseball and are now on to soccer. Devon is just starting to get the hang of playing a team sport, and we get excited just to see him run during the game. Carson on the other hand is all over the place. He loves playing soccer and is super competitive. He is still in the league of 3-5 year olds, and is definitely ready to move up to the big boys. He is, however, having a lot of fun scoring goals.

Camping Trip

We are days away from having our new baby girl and Cabe decided to take all 3 kids camping, by himself, to give me a weekend off. These are all the pictures he could take since his hands were pretty full. The boys both caught a fish, and Carson especially enjoyed fishing. Cabe said he fished for hours and could have kept going. We bought them both their own fishing poles and Carson could do everything on his own, which made it much more fun for him. It's too bad we don't have a picture:)
I was able to relax and enjoy my time, which I took full advantage of. I spent one day reading my book, taking a nap, watching a chick flick and eating ice cream. The next day I got to spend with my sisters in Provo. We shopped, got pedicures, at a delicious dinner, and went to a movie. I really appreciate Cabe for the weekend I got to have, what a good man.

Our New Pet Snakes!!

We've had our snakes, Lydia and Buttons, for a few weeks now and it's been quite the experience. We have rented from the Library several books on Garter Snakes and learned quite a bit. We have got to actually witness a few things now for ourselves as well. We have had both snakes shed their skin, which was very cool. The snakes eyes go white and foggy for a few days and then they shed. We had been feeding the snakes crickets and found that they didn't like them very much. So, this weekend we bought some gold fish and actually witnessed the snakes dive into the dish, catch the fish, and then swollow the fish whole. It was very cool. In two days the snakes have eaten 6 fish, so I think we found something they like to eat.
